for taking a photograph a clear idea of what you want to capture combined with an understanding of your equipment and you're pretty much good to go. 

With a view to continually raise the bar with the imagery I capture the work can sometimes be as frustrating as it is fun.

For the most part Mother Nature has a role to play when using natural light so even the best laid plans can be effected by the weather.

Shooting  for fun or work  light plays a fundamental role in the shoot, though clients can rest assured whatever the conditions faced while on location I'll setup to get the best out of the day.
